Story

Everything about the Alexis Hotel is unique. Originally two separate buildings, there are over fifty different styles and sizes of guestrooms. Elegant and informal, the hotel is located centrally between Seattle’s historic Pioneer Square and the Pike Place Market. An established Seattle landmark, the intimate spaces and traditional brownstone architecture gives the hotel a very upscale residential flavor.

The look of the newly renovated Alexis Hotel was designed to suggest the nuances of a grand European salon, yet maintain the relaxed atmosphere that is characteristic of the city it calls home. We wanted the hotel to be an artistic experience where art and architecture merge. Everything was selected to playfully challenge and provoke; and to build tension with contrast, while maintaining an atmosphere that remains essentially elegant, warm, and relaxed. Every room has a different combination of amenities, art, and décor; mixing Rococo with Minimalist.

Innovative like Seattle, the spaces are a reflection of Seattle’s rising sophistication and sense of confidence in style and its uniqueness.
